If you have ever delved into any type of political activism, you have undoubtedly experienced frustration with most people you encounter.

Most people act as though they were in some kind of mindless hive or herd, controlled by mass consciousness, rendering them incapable of personal insight.
If you watch just a little bit of TV and are listening to someone who spends a lot of time in front of one, you begin to discern pre-packaged phrases and
concepts from the mouths of the drones with whom you converse.

In response, you develop theories on why most people can't perceive factual reality -- even when it is obvious. You may also rightfully question your motives
for wishing to "educate" others. Are you attempting to "educate" out of a sense of duty, or rather because you fancy yourself as having some special knowledge
or insight that most people are not constituted to understand? As your pool of knowledge widens, there is an ever-increasing temptation to view yourself
as separate from the masses you are supposedly seeking to enlighten.

Those of us who see “the conspiracy” have theories relating to most peoples' inability to comprehend our well-documented arguments, which relate to the
larger issue of collective enslavement and exploitation. We try to understand how and why they do not use critical thinking and analysis to better comprehend
what is served to them as consensual reality.

The most common explanation is that most people just “don't want to see” what is really going on. Extremely evil men and women who make up the world's power-elite
have cleverly cultivated a virtual pasture of grass so green that few people seldom, if ever, bother to look up from where they are grazing long enough
to notice the brightly colored tags stapled to their ears. The same people who cannot see their enslavement for the pasture grass have a tendency to
view as insane “conspiracy theorists” -- those of us who can see the past the farm and into the parlor of his feudal lordship's castle.

Finally, I understand why. It's not that those who don't see that their freedom is vanishing under the leadership of the power-elite “don't want to see
it” -- they simply can't see what is happening to them because there are entire vistas of reality, containing whole other dimensions, locked from their view.

Think about this...

If you are quick to take offence, then you'll be under the control of those who you find offensive.
If you are easily angered, then your actions will be dictated by those who anger you.
If you are obsessed by what other people think, then you will be imprisoned by their thoughts.
If you yearn for easy answers and quick solutions, you'll fall prey to people who offer you nothing but promises.
If you find the truth too difficult to bear, you'll be enslaved to those who tell you what you want to hear.
When you have the courage to think for yourself, the strength to accept what is, The commitment and discipline to make a difference, then you are free.
You are truly free to live with purpose, joy and fulfilment.
Let your life be defined, not by reactions to what others do, Say, or think but rather your own unique vision.
Raise your eyes above the pettiness and follow the path of the greatness that is within you.

Givers and takers

Category:Random thoughts | Posted by: babagrr | Add comment 230 words

Do you give to others more than you receive? Or are you a taker, believing that others have an obligation to give to you? Both are extremes. To get your
life in balance, you must get giving and taking in balance. Those who always give are just as unbalanced as those who only take. Exclusive givers and exclusive
takers always pay a price. Relationships are much deeper and satisfying when these two acts are in balance.

If giving is more of a blessing than taking,
most of us are satisfied with leaving this blessing to others.
– Shailer Matthews

It is every man’s obligation to put back into the world
at least the equivalent of what he takes out of it.
– Albert Einstein

commentary
Our modern world teaches us to take. In business, for example, we concentrate on gaining wealth and recognition. The more we acquire, the more we forget
to give. But giving is just as important and we should never forget that everything in our life started when we received birth and health and a lot of
TLC. Giving means having time to listen, helping others, and being there for people in need. In my experience, the more you give, the more you get – and
I am not just talking about money.

Is today the day when you should "give" a supporting phone call to someone? Do it! No Trackbacks

Progress

Category:Random thoughts | Posted by: babagrr | Add comment 38 words

With every passing hour our solar system comes forty-three
thousand miles closer to globular cluster M13 in the
constellation Hercules, and still there are some misfits
who continue to insist that there is no such thing as
progress. No Trackbacks
