I have been issued a K-Jam and only manage to get a memory card two days ago.

However, it refused to uninstall applications that I have already installed on to the main storage and that just irritated me like crazy. So, I turned to the manual and tried everything related to hard resetting the darn thing.

Running around a few forums, I finally got the correct procedure and sequence for successfully doing a hard reset on the k-jam. And yes, it worked.

Here goes:

Cortion: All data in the phone's storage will be removed, i.e. customized settings, applications, etc.

Hold down the communications manager button (top left) and the Voice activation button (top right).
While holding down those two buttons, use the stylus to hold in the reset button for a couple seconds.
Release the stylus but not the other two buttons. After a couple seconds, a black screen when come up asking you to press send to continue.
Release the communications manager button and the Voice activation button and press send (green phone button)

And there you go.
