Stoffel is a local Windows app. It stores its working data under your Windows user profile.
Stoffel can ask for your password every time, use Windows Credential Manager, or use Stoffel’s local app storage. Windows Credential Manager is usually the safer option. The local app storage option exists as a fallback for users who cannot rely on Windows credential storage.
Support reports are designed to exclude passwords, cookies, and session tokens. Still, read a support report before sharing it if you are concerned about paths, titles, or other local details.
When you use OMDb lookup, Stoffel sends a title query to OMDb. When you log in or download from AudioVault, Stoffel connects to AudioVault using your account. Stoffel does not sell your data and does not include advertising or tracking code.
If you use the optional PayPal donation link for Stoffel development, that payment is handled by PayPal, not by Stoffel. Stoffel does not process payment details, does not require donations, and does not change app functionality based on donations.
When you choose to check for Stoffel updates, Stoffel contacts Kwagga.com with the app slug, current version, channel, platform, and architecture. It does not send AudioVault credentials, OMDb API keys, local library contents, support reports, offline folder paths, or media filenames during update checks.
Direct app support through hanif.kruger@gmail.com is expected to be deprecated once the Kwagga.com support system is implemented. Support reports remain local unless you choose to share or submit them.
